Join us for a Race for Life 5k

No matter how cancer affects us, life is worth Racing for.

  • The 5k is a good first challenge for most people.

  • 5k is just over 3 miles and can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. The one thing we’re beating is cancer.

  • Go at your own pace and help fund life-saving cancer research.

How far is 5k?

5 kilometres is just over 3 miles and on average takes around an hour to complete dependant on ability.

How is the Race for Life 5k measured?

Our courses are measured using measuring wheels by our team of experienced Event Managers. Measuring wheels are the most accurate way of measuring course distances as they are not impacted by surrounding buildings or terrain, this is why the distance may be different from Garmin, Strava, Apple Watch and Fitbit technology.
